FOR THE D R E A M E R S.
"KEEPING PROMISES"
Don’t be afraid to fail, and certainly don’t be afraid to succeed. It’s been said - If you never apply yourself, take amazing opportunities, or allow your dreams to become realities, you will never experience your true potential.
Storytelling is one of the most powerful means that humans have to influence, teach, and inspire. We created this contest for those who are looking for an avenue to share their voice, regardless of whether you have decades of experience in film or you are a hobbyist who works in customer service to subsidize creating content with your friends. We created this contest for any filmmaker who is looking to show what they’re made of. We created this contest for YOU. With a prize like this, we have no doubt that the level of talent competing will be strong. It won’t be an easy win, but we all know that working within a community of creatives is what gives us new ideas, pushes us past our perceived limits, and ultimately gives us the ability to create work we all stand behind.
Over the years we have worked very hard to turn Motoplayground into the company it is today. Humbled and happy to say that we have pioneered a few paths along the way... We also promised that if we ever found ourselves in a position of influence, we would help usher in a new generation of groundbreakers. It took a lot of sleepless nights, dead ends, blood (literally), and sacrifice: but that time has arrived for Motoplayground… and for you.
Win this contest and we are going to give you our RED HELIUM 8K camera (not to keep forever) - but to use on a daily basis, and hone in your craft, potentially attracting larger clients while getting hands on experience with the best camera in the world, until it's time for you to pay it forward in March at SPRING A DING DING 2022 where we will do it all again.
Last Spring we launched our competition for any filmmaker who wanted to show what they’re made of. We truly want to encourage you to try for this competition. Have only a phone? No problem. Have a 2000s camcorder? No problem. It's all about how you capture it. The more competition we have the greater the creativity. In Ponca City this year there will be a bit of a twist. In this competition you will be stacked up against our very own filmers. The last one standing gets the prize and YOU might be the one winning! Submissions will be judged by an Industry Legend anonymously that will pick ONE winner... So may the best filmer WIN and good luck!
Industry Judge will be revealed after contest- (You know- to keep it fair- so no one can sway the blind judging)
